The first incarnation of this site, launched in 2006, was a bit low-tech compared to what can be done now. In those days, I maintained a blog on a separate site and linked it to the main page.

Since that's no longer necessary, as my new server supports an internal blog, and because I basically quit updating the old site when things on the publishing front got slow a few years back, I'm just going to link the old site here as my "Blog Archive." All new posts will be here on the main site.
